Terms and Conditions


All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars and include the New Zealand Goods & Services Tax of 15%.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

On acceptance of the proposed itinerary your booking will be secured with a 25% deposit of total cost. We accept Visa, MasterCard and direct bank deposit. This enables New Zealand Paradise Tours to make the necessary bookings as per your itinerary to ensure our travel partners (accommodation and activity providers) secure your options.

As a boutique touring company, cancellations greatly affect us.

  • Cancellations occurring within 90 days of your tour will be charged at 25% of the total tour cost.
  • Cancellations occurring within 60 days of your tour will be charged at 50% of the total tour cost.
  • Cancellations occurring within 45 days of your tour will be charged at 75% of the total tour cost.
  • Cancellations occurring within 30 days of your tour will be charged at 100% of the total tour cost.


In all circumstances we will endeavour to book a replacement tour in the time period previously reserved for you (with other interested parties). Should we successfully rebook, we will refund your deposit. New Zealand Paradise Tours will make every effort to refund your deposit in the event of a cancellation. Should we rebook another tour however we cannot guarantee that our accommodation and activity partners will be able to do the same.

We advise our guests to pre-purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover for any unexpected changes to your travel plans.


Balance of full payment is required 60 days prior to your tour commencement. For bookings made within 60 days of your intended travel dates, payment is required in full immediately for confirmation.

Included in Tour Price

Your tour price includes:
  • All meals as specified in your itinerary. Breakfast is included daily. Lunch is not included and the price will vary (dependent on the day's activities, lunch venue and your lunch choice). Dinner is included where specified. Some dinners have not been included as you may prefer to eat at a local restaurant in preference to dining in-house.

  • Vehicle expenses, accommodation and transfers.

  • Activities where specified in your itinerary.

Not Included in Tour Price

Your tour price does not include:
  • Alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages, however natural/sparkling spring water is provided during the touring day for your comfort.

  • Travel insurance.

  • Additional activities organised after the itinerary has been finalised.

Privacy Policy

We consider your privacy an essential component of travelling with New Zealand Paradise Tours and will ensure your details remain confidential at all times.  The information that we collect is considered sensitive data.  When we collect this information it is for the purpose of catering to your needs while you are on a tour with us.  Any information collected such as name, address, email and telephone number will be held in confidence by New Zealand Paradise Tours.  Should you provide information such as health concerns or dietary restrictions this will only be disclosed to other parties within our travel services if it is deemed to be acting in your best interests (eg notifying a chef in advance of any allergies or particular food dislikes).

Additional Costs

To aid in your seamless travel experience, your chauffeur will make payment throughout your journey for additional expenses incurred (such as lunch/dinner/activities - where not prepaid) with a final account to be settled at the end of your tour.  Final payment is to be made in full prior to your departure from New Zealand.  A detailed summary will be provided as confirmation of charges incurred.

Travel Insurance

Our tour does not include travel insurance however we strongly recommend the purchase of a comprehensive policy from your local insurance provider to cover any unexpected change in your circumstances that either prevents your arrival in New Zealand or alters your travel plans while here.  Care should be taken to ensure your cover includes medical expenses, loss of baggage, cancellation fees etc.


Whilst every care is taken to provide an enjoyable tour, we do travel through areas that can be affected by weather conditions that may cause a disruption or change to your itinerary. We will make alternative arrangements when and where practical but no liability is accepted for any event that is beyond our control, eg weather disruptions, another operator withdrawing their service for whatever reason.

While great care is taken when selecting our accommodation, excursions, airlines, etc, we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of those operators or their employees.
